2025 IDEXX Corporate Responsibility Report
“At IDEXX, corporate responsibility is central to how we create long-term value,” said Mike Erickson, IDEXX President and Chief Executive Officer. “The progress reflected in this report is the result of sustained investments in innovation, our people, and capabilities that support our customers every day. These priorities are deeply connected to our business strategy and purpose, strengthening our company today while positioning us for future innovation and growth.”
The Care We Advance
Veterinary medicine is undergoing rapid transformation as advances in science and technology enable earlier detection, faster diagnosis, and deeper insights into disease. IDEXX is helping lead that evolution through innovations that bring screening and diagnosis closer together and expand access to advanced diagnostics. Over the past year, IDEXX:
- Significantly advanced its innovation portfolio by launching or achieving launch readiness for multiple solutions, led by the IDEXX Cancer Dx™ Panel with canine lymphoma detection and new fine needle aspirate (FNA) cytology capabilities for mast cell tumors on the IDEXX inVue Dx™ Cellular Analyzer, helping address one of veterinary medicine’s greatest unmet needs.
- Raised the standard for diagnostic imaging with the ImageVue™ DR50 Plus Digital Imaging System, combining advanced AI and the industry’s lowest radiation dose to help protect veterinary teams.
- Helped enable access to care for more than 45,000 animals in underserved communities in 2025, bringing the cumulative number supported through global social initiatives since 2022 to more than 749,000 animals.
The People We Support
Innovation begins with people. IDEXX continues to invest in the capabilities, development, and engagement of its workforce, recognizing that strong teams are essential to advancing science, serving customers, and supporting long-term growth. Notable highlights include:
- Received recognition as a top disability-inclusive business from the Disability Index.
- Logged 121,400 hours of learning and development, including 46,700 hours of STEM and AI learning.
- Surpassed its employee volunteering goal with more than 24,000 logged volunteer hours, exceeding its annual goal of 15,000 hours.
The Planet We Share
As a global company, IDEXX remains focused on managing resources responsibly and reducing its environmental footprint. The company remains on track to meet its 2030 GHG emissions reduction goal and anticipates significant emissions reductions in the next few years. Progress in 2025 reflected continued investment in renewable electricity, operational efficiency, and initiatives designed to reduce waste and extend product life. Across its operations, IDEXX:
- Signed its first virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) in Europe, bringing the total to three VPPAs expected to source enough renewable electricity to cover 100% of IDEXX’s North American and European electricity consumption when they come online.
- Continued the transition of its commercial fleet to hybrid and electric vehicle models, which represented approximately 42% of its fleet at year-end 2025.
- Extended instrument life and improved reliability for customers by servicing more than 35,000 instruments and completing 85,000 point-of-service upgrades on select IDEXX instruments.
This Corporate Responsibility Report covers topics the company believes are relevant to our business and stakeholders. IDEXX uses well-established reporting standards generally aligned with frameworks, such as those released by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
