Ms. Byers has been Senior Vice President, Veterinary Software, Diagnostic Imaging, and Telemedicine since April 2026. Prior to joining IDEXX, Ms. Byers served as Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Imaging for Optum Insight, the technology health services division of UnitedHealth Group, from January 2023 to April 2026 and the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Imaging at Change Healthcare, a formerly NASDAQ-listed healthcare technology company acquired by UnitedHealth Group and combined with Optum Insight in October 2022, from July 2019 to January 2023. Prior to that, she held multiple senior leadership roles at IBM Watson Health, a former division of IBM, including Global Sales Leader in Imaging, Oncology and Value-Based Care from January 2019 to June 2019 and Americas Sales Leader in Life Science, Payer, Provider and Government sectors from January 2018 to January 2019. Earlier in her career, Ms. Byers held several leadership positions spanning responsibility for sales, marketing and operational roles at Philips Healthcare, a subsidiary of Royal Philips Electronics. Ms. Byers holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Lehigh University and an MBA from Northeastern University.
