Dr. Erickson has served as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the board of directors of IDEXX since May 2026. Prior to becoming our President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Erickson held senior positions across key portions of IDEXX’s business, including diagnostics, software, strategy and corporate accounts, most recently serving as an Executive Vice President and General Manager of IDEXX’s Global Point of Care Diagnostics and Telemedicine lines of business from January 2024 to May 2026 and as a Senior Vice President from January 2020 to December 2023 leading Corporate and Strategic Accounts through December 2022, Global Point of Care Diagnostics from January 2023 to December 2023, and the Corporate Strategy and Advanced Analytics organization in 2022. Before joining IDEXX in 2011, Dr. Erickson was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, where he advised leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology and health service companies. He earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
